I'm trying to remedy this problem I'm having on a persons computer
The main function toolbar ( i.e. Create Mail- Reply- forward, etc.) is missing. I'v checked the Windows Layout properties (under View - Layout-Basic) box on one user account ( the other user accounts are ok) , TOOLBAR is checked, Customize toolbar goes Active, clicking Customize button has no effect. the gray baycan be moved but no toolbar hidden. Could this be a mis-set bit in the users registry section for that section? I'm not squeamish to change a registry setting, but I don't go randomly poking around in it. Win XP home-SP3 Thank You -- mIKE |

This isn't the message itself, it is the opening screen which appears where
inbox is displayed -- mIKE "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Toolbars disappear from Message Composition windows or the main OE window: http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#notoolbars -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "mIKE" wrote in message ... I'm not sure what you're asking. I thought the toolbar was missing. The
article refers to the Main Toolbar /and/ the Composition Toolbar. Either way, a new identity is the easiest fix. Or are you not opening to the Inbox? Tools | Options | General. Check the first box. Or are you referring to the Preview Pane? View | Layout. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "mIKE" wrote in message ...
