I almost never use Outlook anymore, just Outlook Express.
Couple of questions come to mind: Was there ever a "calendar" function inside OE to keep appointments and such? And, perhaps not so wishingly, was there a 3rd party freeware add-on for such (if there wasn't)? And secondly, any reported issues with sync-ing between this cheap-o blackberry curve and OE? If my grammar seems bad, just think how much better it was than before! Thanks in advance and happy holidays. |

OE never had a calendar. This is the only add-on I am aware of.
OEComplete Calendar For Outlook Express: http://www.cellarstone.com/oecomplete.htm I haven't noticed any synching issues, but.............. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "ng_reader" wrote in message ... I checked it out. Much like OE, it hasn't been updated in years. A link broken here or there. But I'd be willing to entertain any other stuff if anyone's aware.... "ng_reader" wrote in message ... A1. No.
A2. I'd very much doubt if you can sync the Blackberry with OE. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ ng_reader wrote: I almost never use Outlook anymore, just Outlook Express. Blackberry has the option to "sync" with Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes or Organizer, GroupWise or Act! Right now I have it pointing to Outlook and is working fine. But, as previously mentioned, I'd like to stop using Outlook all together. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ ng_reader wrote: I almost never use Outlook anymore, just Outlook Express. ![]() "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote in message ... Try posting here instead: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/...?board.id=8300 I could. But I am *much* more interested in Outlook Express than in my Blackberry. Ever call their customer service? I have never, ever, spoken to a Canadian with a worse "service" attitude. ng_reader wrote: "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote in message ... A1. No. A2. That's a peer-to-peer support forum for Curve users, many of whom appear to
be syncing with OE, if you'd bother to do a little reading. Who better to tell you how to do it than someone who's already doing it, eh? Your rant about "their" customer service (one assumes you're referring to the service provider or telco) is totally OT here. PS: Up until only a few months ago, Blackberry's couldn't sync with OE's database so there may be a few more bugs to be worked out. If you want to abandon OL, you'd best (1) disable any sharing with OE contacts, (2) get all of your OL messages transferred into OE, and then (3) uninstall OL before proceeding any further. ng_reader wrote: "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote in message ...
