Select "Text files" as your "Save as type". -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |

You need to update your version of Outlook Express.
If by edit, you mean delete, after clicking on Forward, place the cursor in the text area and delete the addresses. -- Ronald Sommer "fgarcia242" wrote in message ... Every mail you send is a NEW mail whether you are composing it from scratch, including someone's message in a reply that you compose, or attach it to a new mail that you compose. If you are forwarding inline, the original message becomes part of your NEW message. It is just as editable as when you are composing a mail from scratch. Just position the cursor anywhere inside the body of your new mail (that contains a partial copy of the original sender's message) and go editing away however you like. If you are forward as attachment then you shouldn't be touching that attachment. The point of attaching the original mail is so that the next recipient gets exactly what the original sender had sent, including their headers. If you are trying to save mails outside of Outlook Express and then edit them, go ahead. Saving a mail is as easy as dragging it out of OE or exporting it which creates an .eml file. That is a text file, so use any editor you like (e.g., Notepad) to alter the contents of that .eml file. If you meant something else, you'll have to better explain what you meant. Your post is too vague. |
