Win XP, IE6.
I'd like to make a shortcut that would call a new OE message form without calling OE itself. I believe this is possible, but I've forgotten how to do it. Help, please. Thanks, Jack Crane |

Jack Open Windows Explorer and click Tools | Folder Options | File Types Find URL:Mailto Protocol (It's among those with no file type) and select it. If there's an Advanced button click that. Select open and click Edit. Change Application used to perform this action to "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /mailurl:%1 The quotes are necessary where they are. I suggest you use copy and paste. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Please respond in Newsgroup. Do not send email http://www.fjsmjs.com Protect your PC http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ |
