Default NNTP Servers.

First let me express my gratitude to Bruce, Jim, Norman, and Pa Bear who
helped me get OE set up and running.

Thanks to you guys, I also know now where to find other Newsreaders, and how
to set them up. Presently, I have another question, I hope some body can
help me.

My questions is: How can I find out the NNTP Server for the other groups I
use? Mainly the AOL Boards, AVG, Ccleaner, and Registry Mechanic.

Thank you,
em

YW. Start Googling. The groups you are asking about may, and probably are,
Web based forums only.

First you need to determine if there are newsgroups for those applications.
(AFAIK, there aren't.) Then you'd need to find a newsserver that carries
the newsgroups (see the links Bruce posted earlier).

Thanks Bruce. Well, there goes that idea. Too bad if I can use OE for my
other groups. I really like reading my messages in it.

Thanks pa Bear, but how can I find out if there are newsgroups for my
applications? Or maybe I should just forget about the whole thing. It sounds
like both you and Bruce don't think there aren't any anyway.
