Default Accounts?

No Accounts in Tools drop-down box:

Go to Start | Run and type in:

regedit

Click OK and locate this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express

On the right-hand side of the page, double click: *No modify accts* value.
{If this value does not exist, on the Edit menu, click DWORD Value. Type: No
modify accts, and press Enter to save the name}.

Change the setting of this value from 1 to 0, click OK.

That should put it back in the drop-down box.

If you have any problems with those instructions, this is a direct registry
modification download that will also put it back:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...modifyundo.reg

If neither fix works, /and/ you already had the *No Modify Accts* value in
the registry, delete it and reboot. If Accounts is back, good. If not,
recreate the *No Modify Accts* value as per above.

And if you still find it missing:

Restart the computer. Keep tapping the F8 key until the Windows Startup menu
appears. Choose "Safe Mode with Networking" and press Enter.

Click Start | Run and type in:

MSIMN.EXE

Click OK.

On the open window, click Tools. Does Accounts show now? Reboot in normal
mode and it should still be there.
