Rubbish & Codswallop...
The developers of Outlook Express properly understood the implicit "Send Later" Function. Compare it to the Paper World which preceded the Cybernetic World. Busy executive reviews point paper written for CEO, signs it and puts it in his Outbox for secretary to pick up and deliver. Then he receives phone call from close friend and colleague who tells him New Important Information. So, he picks up point paper from Outbox, makes ink changes and sends it to secretary for retyping. Outlook Express worked just fine on that model... A message in the Outbox was NOT sent immediately if the "Send messages immediately" box was UNCHECKED. But it WAS sent when _Send and Receive All_ was clicked later. WLM should do the same. DSH Lux et Veritas et Libertas Vires et Honor "Gary VanderMolen" wrote in message ... The Outbox was never meant as a holding place from which you can re-edit messages. That's what the Drafts folder is for. I click _Send_ and the spellcheck is performed then the message winds up in the Outbox. The software should respond to user commands -- not arbitrarily dictate sequencing -- in this case.
