Default Same email I see Times text and my partner Arial

My partner sent me an email, text is in Arial 10. If you edit the email
and highlight the text, it shows Arial 10. Saved the message as eml
and opened in my pc, shows Times New Roman.

I'd hate other people would see it in Times as me.

What's the problem? Is something with default email settings?...
How I ensure others see Arial too?

How did you edit it? Try Forward | Highlight and change the text. Save in
Drafts. OK so far?

If stationery was used, you might not be able to change it unless you copy
the test and paste it into a new message.

If its a plain text message, there is nothing you can do. The character set
and fonts are determined by the user (recipient) under Tools | Options |
Read. If you use an HTML message, then you have to explicitly set the font
to Arial 10 for it to show on the user's system and they would have to have
that font installed.

Look in OE at Tools, Options, Read, Fonts, Proportional Font.

If you send a message in HTML format and specify the same font, OE does
NOT include the font in the message. It lets the recipient's e-mail
program use whatever default font it wants.

So if you use the font that you prefer for reading, then the recipients
will use the font that they prefer, which is not necessarily the same as
yours.
