Trying to help a friend. So far have checked that auto-reply is not on,and
no message rules have been created at all. Here is what is happening (his words) When I receive an email, from anyone, they receive an immediate reply email from my address with nothing in the body of the email. It is a reply to the original email and preceded by whatever original subject was. This has been happening for the last several months and never occured before. No changes were made to any settings that i'm aware of. I looked at my Outlook Express options/settings and don't see any options for auto reply or anything that was changed I am able to reply, forward and use any action that I would normally be able to so I'm not experiencing any troubles on that front. I don't know where else to look for the problem. He is using Comcast as his ISP and his OE set to download messages to OE & remove from the server. Thank you for any suggestions and help. |
