A Final ToolTip Question - Brief Flash Then 10 Sec Appearance
It appears the only way to eliminate ToolTips in OE6 is via a registry edit.
I'd rather not mess with that and I can live with the little boxes. What annoys me most about ToolTips in OE6 is the way they sometimes appear when I move the cursor into the "To", "Cc", or "Subject" field. The tip will often flash briefly before showing up a second time. The first brief flash lasts less than a second - the second appearance lasts for approx 10 seconds. I can't figure out what causes this "flashing" appearance. I have found that if I move the cursor extremely slowly into the field, I do not get the first brief flash - only the longer 10 sec appearance. But, if I move the cursor quickly into the field, I often get the initial flash followed by the second appearance of the ToolTip. No big deal but somewhat annoying. Thanks - L
