In the MS Office 2003 Setup window, it says to select the apps you want to
install and deselect the apps you want to remove. It opened with the items I believe I have installed already selected: Word Excel PP Publisher. UNCHECKED items a Outlook Access InfoPath As mentioned earlier, I cannot find anything in my Office folders that give a hint of Outlook. Where would the files be located? Janet PS I don't want to reinstall all my Office apps. "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Add/Remove Programs | Office 2003: Click on the CHANGE OR REMOVE BUTTON Tip: Have your Office 2003 CD handy. Well, you have a few options at your disposal:
1. Begin a new thread in microsoft.public.outlook.general newsgroup (and perhaps crosspost to microsoft.public.officeupdate newsgroup). Ask why you're being offered updates for OL 2003 when it's not installed and how you can stop them from being offered; 2. Change your Automatic Updates* setting to the Notify Only (third) option. After doing so, you will have to approve which updates are downloaded, which updates are installed and when they're installed. When an OL update is offered, decline to download it and "hide" it; or... 3. Go to Microsoft Update | Click on Change Settings in left pane | Scroll to bottom of page | To Stop Using Microsoft Update | Disable Microsoft Update software and let me use Windows Update only (check). With Windows Update as your default, you will not be offered any Office updates but you will need to check in at Office Update to keep your other Office applications fully patched: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/do...incatalog.aspx. When you check in at Office Update, decline any OL updates offered.
