deleting downloaded messages from newsgroups
for deleting the donwloaded messages from the newsgroups you goto
tools-options-maintenance-clearup now and then browse in the browse window the default is outlook express .instad of this I would like have default as the newsgroup so that I dont inadvertently delete all the email messages folders. (I agree dialog box pops up to confirm whether you want to delete the message under Outlook express) butsometimes it has become such a routine you clik yes. any way out.

deleting downloaded messages from newsgroups
The default is the newsgroup folders under the Outlook Express folder.
This does not include any email or local folders. I think that only the messages bodies are deleted and not the message headers.
