I received an email from X-10.com and all the pictures in it were little red
x's. One of those pictures are important. I have all my security settings set to allow me to receive and display images. Other email messages I've received previously, show pictures. What do I need to do to get the images to display properly? Thank you -------------- D.H. Cesare |

If you don't see the red X's in other messages or on web-pages and if you
can send yourself an email with embedded pix and don't see the red X's, the problem's not on your end. D.H. What is the size of the email?
Did you Ctrl + F3 to see if the pictures are part of the message? -- Ron Sommer "D.H. Cesare" wrote in message ... I received an email from X-10.com and all the pictures in it were little red x's. Ctrl + F3 will display the Message Source of the message.
If the pictures where included with the email there should have been pages of bmRvYmoKNCAwIG9iago8PC9MZW5ndG code. That didn't answer either of my questions. If the size of the email is not very large, then the email has links to pictures on the Web. You will have to be connected to the Internet to download the pictures. After the pictures are downloaded, they are placed in Temporary Internet files. The pictures will be available until Temporary Internet files is emptied, or OE closed. The server containing the pictures may have been done or you weren't connected to the Internet. -- Ron Sommer "D.H. Cesare" wrote in message ... "Ron Sommer" wrote in message ...
