It could be that they want to make you a member of the pig society by
giving you the title MVP. With this title after your name you can
insult, abuse and bully everyone on these newsgroups. You don't have
to know anything about computers or current technology so you don't

LOL! True in a few circumstances here, but that's not a widespread
attitude on the part of actual, well meaning MVPs, which most are. Most
real MVPs are considerate people and post according to their guidelines.
One shouldn't paint the whole world with just one color when there's
just one tiny dot of it on the whole canvas.
OTOH, there are a few specific instances here where you hit the nail
on the head!
