Create local folders for each account. Eg: Inbox Info, Inbox Sales, etc.
Then create a message rule for each. Where the message is from the specified account. Move it to the specified folder & Stop processing more rules. Click on: Specified Account and enter the account name for one of the Inboxes. Click on: Specified Folder and select the folder you created. Name the rule. Repeat for the rest Move these rules to the top of the rules list and the incoming messages will be separated into their respective folders. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "Dr. Indera" wrote in message ... hello, i set up 10 email accounts on my domain. i would like to download all of the incoming email from these 10 email accounts from my hosting companies server into one outlook express identity. i want to create a filter for each email account so that based on the address (ie, , etc), the incoming goes to a folder (ie info account folder, sales account folder) is this possible? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you Tracy * * * * * * * * * * |

The specified account rule will not work if the 'accounts' are just aliases
for the main account. Does each account have its own password? If the accounts are not aliases and you want to keep incoming and sent items for each account separate, you can download and install Windows Live Mail. -- Ron Sommer "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... what i forgot to say in my previous reply is that in addition to the 10
email accounts, my domain has what i call a master email account. i lot into that account via the web mail tool on my domain. i think the name of the web mail tool is called "horde" i created a folder for each account and the emails based on the email address go into a folder. that is what i want to replicate in outlook express. i hope this helps clarify what i'm trying to accomplish. thank you. Bruce didn't realize the OP wasn't even getting the messages in OE. I
thought "separating" them was the issue. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "Ron Sommer" wrote in message ... isn't live mail web based?
if so, that honestly does not appeal to me because in addition to these 10 email accounts for this domain, i have several other email accounts for some of my clients that i have to maintain, plus a few yahoo accounts. my goal is to bring all email accounts into outlook express on my netbook. currently, i have the non domain email accounts on 2 other laptops in outlook express. it's just a hot mess! it will be easier for me if all of my email is on one computer thank you.
