If I save the HTML message from Outlook to the desktop it shows as a .htm
file and when i open it and print it, it prints OK. Renaming it to .mht IE opens with a blank page, and print results in a blank page -- Rogier DG "Steve Cochran" schreef: You can print from IE fine, correct? Steve ,sorry i could not post earlyer, my internet server had problems with this site. 1. I do not have regsvr on my system, I have only regsvr32 2. when in Outlook 2000, you select a HTML formatted message (not open it) then go to FILE, PRINT... a window opens for a printer selection and a format selection. If you select format memo ( to select the printing of the message) the printer selection box is greyed out, as if the system detects the absence of a specific module.Hitting print anyway then gives you the script error If you select table format (to print the entire folder) the printer selection box is available and subsequent printing is OK. Repeat the entire procedure with a text formatted message, and both prints are OK This test can not be done in OE because there no format selection window is opened, en hence print fails immediattely. What module is Outlook 2000 expecting that is not there (printer box greyed out)?. If somebody can help with that we may be a step further. OK saved a html message from Outlook Expess to my desktop as a eml file, then
renamed it to mht file. It prints OK.(it opens with IE so that print always worked; as y mentioned earlyer, when I get the script error, the program leaves a htm file in my Temp folder and that prints ok too) but the message is not formatted with a message header( From,To, Subject,Date..), it is just the plain message text. Steve,
I am happy to let you know that i solved my printing problem, thanks to implementing three reg files that were distributed as a fix for W2000 and XP. I edited them to fit Regedit 4.0, applied them and now i can print from OE as well as from Outlook2000. If you are interested in getting these reg files let me know where i can mail them ( I have them as .RAR archive). Cheers, Rogier -- Rogier DG "Steve Cochran" schreef: That's working correctly then. Hi Rogier,
I'm glad you got it fixed. I was back looking at it and couldn't figure it out. Go ahead and email them to me, if you would, so I can have them for the next person. cheers, steve "Rogier DG" wrote in message news ![]() Steve, I am happy to let you know that i solved my printing problem, thanks to implementing three reg files that were distributed as a fix for W2000 and XP.
