Tip: Also disable email scanning and McAfee AntiSpam.

Many apologies : McAfee 8.5 Access Protection was preventing OTHER
programs
from sending mails. Unblocked the rule and things are ok on that machine.

Actually, I should add Excel.exe ( and whatever else) to the exclusion
list.

Will do that after lunch
