To avoid confusion, please begin a new thread about your specific problems.
State your IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1;
Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) in your first post. Thank you.

I have the same problem - can receive, but cannot send. I have reviewed
all
the settings and cannot find any difference between this computer and the
laptop that works just fine. Last night I got an error message, I think
it
was 550, but today I get nothing - it just flashes, but doesn't send
anything. I have changed the servers from mail.charter.net to
pop.charter.net and smtp.charter.net. When it's mail....., I can receive,
but under no setting can I send. HELP!
