If this is not the correct group for a Live Mail question please direct me.
Simple question. I use Live Mail only for newsgroups (Win 7 of course). Is there a way to set it up to boot to Newgroups as the default screen as opposed to Mail (I always have to then click on Newsgroups)? Thanks in advance... Bob |

Yes, this is not the correct newsgroup, but see this:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...&cr=&sloc=&p=1 WLMail can be run in XP and Vista also, so the "Win7 of course" doesn't really fly. If you need more help, and for the futu Windows Live Mail [Desktop] Newsgroup. "WLMail can be run in XP and Vista also, so the "Win7 of course" doesn't

XP and earlier came with OE embedded in it. Vista came with WinMail
embedded in it. Win7 does not have any e-mail program embedded in it. That is my reason for saying "Win7 of course" doesn't really fly. What are you locked into? Windows Live Mail? There is always Thunderbird, Eudora, Opera, Pegasus, etc. You are not locked into anything. You /are/ locked out of using Outlook Express, and Windows Mail. Why? Well for starters, all production for both of those e-mail clients ended in June, 2006. Hey. I liked OE myself, but don't shoot the messenger. If it were up to me, I would have fixed the fragile dbx file system and kept OE going. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "Bob Newman" wrote in message ...
