WLMail, TBird and Gravity are free. Agent isn't. There are others. All you
need is Google. http://www.google.com/search?q=Free+...x=&startPage=1 -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "abc" wrote in message ... Thanks for advising, are those free software? "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... No. You cannot use OE in Win7. You can use Windows Live Mail, (What MS considers the upgrade for OE), or a third party app such as Thunderbird, Forte Agent, Gravity, etc. Windows Live Mail (Overview & Features): http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview This will run on XP if you want to test it out. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "abc" wrote in message ... Yes that's right, I am currently using OE / XP Professional for posting to newsgroups, but this is my old machine and I am transferring to a new one. I had forgotton that it came with IE6. I wanted to know how to get a copy of OE 6 and install it on Windows 7. Is this possible? Thank you. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... You just posted this using Outlook Express, and it is part and parcel of all XP operating systems, not Office. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "abc" wrote in message ... Do you know if it's possible to install only OE6 software from MS Office XP? I still want to use the OE front end for newsgroup access. Thank you. |
