Tom, The ".wps" extension usually indicates that the file was written with Microsoft Works, an uncommon product nowadays. Microsoft offers a converter for certain versions of Works and certain versions of Word: http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/d...displaylang=en If you only have to convert one file once, and the data is not sensitive, it might be simpler to locate a free conversion service on the internet, e.g., http://www.zamzar.com/ HTH.
