My photos now appearing as MS picture manager??

Default My photos now appearing as MS picture manager??

Some how my pix have the MS Picture manager logo on them which prevents me
from inserting in anything? Comes up always as MS office document?

Looks like Picture Manager has gotten associated with certain extensions.
Did you install it recently?

Well, what program do you want associated with the pictures? Outlook isn't a
program to associate with them. Things like Paint, etc are...

Thanks for your response. Now that I rebooted I got rid of the Word/ DOS
coming up. However all my pix have the MS picture icon on them. If I highlite
them they do say "from Jac album 5 or Adobe etc. but the icon is MSPicture??

In My Computer go to the Tools menu Folder Options File types tab
Highlight the extension you want to change Click Advanced Click Change

I see now the error of my ways. The default jpg icon IS the MS picture icon. Somehow I thought when I created a studio jpeg pix I would see a studio icon, or an Adobe jpg pix I would see an Adobe icon. I now know the

reason. Thank you for your kind responses.
