It's not 'other software', it's an Outlook feature. If you don't know the
answer, don't waste your time posting. John "Russ Valentine" wrote in message ... Why do you need other software to do this for you? Any reason you can't make a copy of your Outlook data file yourself? That's what everyone else does. -- Russ Valentine "John Nice" johnDOTniceATbtinternetDOTcom wrote in message ... I use Outlook 2003 SP3 under XP Pro SP3 fully patched. Following a recent near-disaster I thought I would backup my Outlook to my second (D:\) disk. But despite me specifying in the backup to use D:\outlookbackup folder, backup always tries to use the default .pst location on the C: drive. Any ideas, please how I may secure my backup data? TIA John |

In many cases it's a RECOVERY drive and is usually fairly full. |

We already gave you the answer. Backup the file yourself. No add-in or
automated backup for Outlook is reliable enough for me to trust. I'd never use such a program. You shouldn't either. -- Russ Valentine "John Nice" johnDOTniceATbtinternetDOTcom wrote in message ...
