I'm wondering if I'm trying to do something that is generally impossible, so thought I'd ask. I've just switched over from using a POP3 email address to using IMAP with gmail, and I've found that all my rules have started working intermittently.
What I'm finding is that when I haven't already read a mail item online before synchronising it with my computer with Outlook then most of the time the rules will work and file the email appropriately, save the attachments off etc. etc. Whereas if I have read the email already then it won't do that and the email just sits in my inbox. Any idea why this is happening? |
