Default Outlook won't remember password

I have searched old threads and see this has been discussed, but there
doesn't seem to be a satisfactory answer. On my computer, running XP,
everything is fine. On another computer, also running XP, Outlook
won't remember the email login password, even though I have checked it
in the account setup and when it asks me for a password. All of the
account setings are exactly the same on both computers. Please help!

Thanks,

Peter
