Default Location of emails?

Hi all,

My Outlook 2000 is "linked" to a corporate email server.

How do I know if my emails are located on my local machine
or if they are located on the corporate email server?

How do I backup all my emails to one file so I can copy it
to a CD-R for later retrieval?

thanks,
charles.....

The email belongs to your company - it's on their Exchange server.

"The company" has lost my emails never to be resurectded several times.
How do I protect myself against such incompetence?

See the replies to your other posts in the Exchange newsgroups. Please don't
multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost
instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups
(separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread.
Thanks :-)
