OL 2003, email set up for HTML

Anytime I type a link into the body of an email (I sometimes send a copy to
myself, too) it comes back with the link in the body twice, for instance my
own website would print out as "www.LinusIdaho.org"www.LinusIdaho.org

Why is this? Can it be set to not do this?

Thanks!

sounds like you are either converting to plain text or the mail server or
antivirus software is expanding the url.

Just did a little more testing. It happens when I post to a yahoo group.
When the email gets back to my inbox from the yahoo group, I get the two
links. Yahoo must be converting it to plain text.

That is an option for the yahoo group owner to have messages converted to
plain text.
