OL 2003, email set up for HTML
Anytime I type a link into the body of an email (I sometimes send a copy to myself, too) it comes back with the link in the body twice, for instance my own website would print out as "www.LinusIdaho.org"www.LinusIdaho.org Why is this? Can it be set to not do this? Thanks! -- Donna in Idaho Website: www.LinusIdaho.org |

sounds like you are either converting to plain text or the mail server or
antivirus software is expanding the url. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Donna in Idaho" wrote in message ... Just did a little more testing. It happens when I post to a yahoo group.
When the email gets back to my inbox from the yahoo group, I get the two links. Yahoo must be converting it to plain text. -- Donna in Idaho Website: www.LinusIdaho.org "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... sounds like you are either converting to plain text or the mail server or antivirus software is expanding the url. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Donna in Idaho" wrote in message ...
