Default Inbox error

I can not open inbox. Error message says to run Inbox repair tool but every
time I try to locate the .pst file I can not get to it. I can get to
Documents and settings, owner, but local settings does not show up as a
directory so I can not drill down to the Outlook.pst file?
I am dead in the water without my inbox.

Default Inbox error

You need to turn on the viewing of hidden folders since Local Settings is a
hidden folder. In My Computer go to the Tools menu Folder Options command.
Check out the View tab
