Default How do I set up Outlook 2003 with my dial-up email account?

I have been using Juno email for years and I'm content with it, but it
has very little spam protection and I'm getting inundated with spam
and junk mail. I read that Outlook 2003 has advanced spam/junk mail
filters so I installed Outlook 2003 and configured it--or at least
attempted to configure it--for my Juno email account. But when I click on
Send/Receive I get the following error message:

Task 'pop.juno.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0D) : 'Unable to find
the e-mail server. Please verify the server information in your account
properties.'

Task 'pop.juno.com - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server
name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down
temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct.'

I got the POP and SMTP settings correct, and I think all other
settings are good. What I want Outlook to do is just like Juno was
able to do. That is, I click on send/recieve and it dials the access
number, uploads what's in my outbox and downloads new mail, then hangs
up. I DON'T want to have to be online in order to send/recieve email
as if I had broadband. Furthermore, connecting to to my ISP first with
my dial-up service, and then opening Outlook and clicking send/receive
e-mail, then disconnecting from the Internet defeats the purpose and
creates another step.

How do I configure Outlook to dial out, upload, download and hang up?

Thanks,
Relztrah
