At some point I had to re-install outlook 2003 on my computer (2003 is
the only version that's ever been on this computer). I can keep opening new instances of outlook. Before, if I tried to open it again, it would go to my already-opened window. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm guessing maybe something in the registry needs to be edited or something? Thanks for any help you may give. |

I suspect that if you looked in Task Manager you'd see only one instance of OUTLOOK.EXE on the Processes tab, which means that you are not opening multiple instances of Outlook, just multiple windows controlled by the same instance. -- Brian Tillman |

I click my little shortcut button on the Quick Launch toolbar.
Then another little "minimized" window shows up at the bottom of my screen. What used to happen is if I opened it up again, it would restore the window that was minimized at the bottom, rather than opening another window. I think you're right, it's another window of the same instance, but it didn't do that before a re-install. Any other tips? Thanks for your help! |

Brian, how do I att that switch?
It doesn't seem to let me add it after the "target". It sounds like you're onto something though! -James |
