Hi there,
I am running Outlook 2003 on two different machines (desktop & notebook) against the same hosted Exchange account offered by an ISP. Recently the ISP seemed to have an outage of some kind and ever since, my account/mailbox seems to be unstable and inconsistent. I ran SCANOST (no help) and then rebuilt my OST file on my Desktop to resolve synchronization issues. I resolved the synch issues however, here's what I'm seeing now: DESKTOP - Inbox occasionally automatically "moves" to Deleted Items folder! - When new e-mails come in, jumps back out to top-level folder where it should be - If I try to move it myself to beneath the top-level Mailbox folder where it should be, Outlook says "Cannot move the item. Special folders including Inbox, Contacts, etc. can't be moved." NOTEBOOK - Sent Items and Outbox seem to be permanently lodged in the Deleted Items folder! - If I try to move it myself I get the same "can't move special folders" message as above. OUTLOOK WEB ACCESS - Sent Items and Outbox seem to be permanently lodged in the Deleted Items folder, like on my notebook - OWA won't let me drag them anywhere Is there anyway to just set everything straight or does my ISP need to fix things on the Exchange end? Any help, suggestions or insights at all that anyone can offer are much MUCH appreciated. Very frustrated... :-S --splounx |

Try starting Outlook one time with the /resetfolders switch.
