I have the same problem after having to manually complete many of the steps
associated with migrating from one laptop to another. (The IBM migration assistant doesn't know how to deal with migration between two accounts that don't have precisely the same name.) I can access my personal and archive files from within Outlook. I can (also recreated) send and recieve test messages from Outlook account setup. I can send e-mail messages to another computer. When I push send/receive I get your error. If I try to change send/receive group settings, I don't get there, but I get no error message. "Blair Wilson" wrote: Help Needed! When I click on "send/receive" I get "You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation". I am using MS Office 2K3 and WinXP. I deleted all profiles after saving outlook.pst file. I have created a new profile. Has anybody experienced this issue before? If so, please share your resolution with me. Any/All suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance. Blair |
