If I set up a series of recurring meeting, and set invitations to be sent 1
week prior to each meeting, when I press "send", are the invitations for the future meeting all sent out immediately, or are they postponed and sent automatically at the assigned date prior to each future meeting date and time? |

The meeting is sent out with all recurrences already loaded so if the
recipient accepts, all instances of the meeting are added to the calendar at once. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. Is there a way to enter recurring future meetings, with a notification
specification, so that the notiifications are delayed in send out until the specified time prior to each meeting? For example, if the meetings are regular monthly meeting (say, the second Thursday of each month) and invitations are to be sent five days prior to the meeting, so that when I enter the recurring series today (Feb 18) the noification for the March meeting is sent 5 days prior to the March meeting, not now; the invitation for the April meeting is sent 5 days prior to the April Meeting, not now; and so on, across the entire span of the recurring meetings? That seems to be the way it works for me. I have a recurring weekly meeting and the reminders pop up on my desktop five minutes before the meeting each week. -- Brian Tillman |

What Brian said.
You can always set the reminder in your original invitation for a 5 day before reminder. Simply type 5d in the reminder window. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
