All versions of Outlook will run on WIndows XP, from Outlook 97 through Outloook 2003. What version d o you have that you believe you must upgrade There may be a legitimate reason but it's not because you install Windows XP. -- Brian Tillman |

I've solved the problem of the Fax. In theory I could keep with Outlook 97,
but to send/receive emails I would need Windows Messaging, right? And the only version of messaging that I can find is off my old windows 98 disk (old tools etc). The question therefore should be: 1) Is there an updated windows messaging within windows xp? 2) Or, does it come as part of Office 2003? Peter "Brian Tillman" wrote in message ... No. Yo need the Internet Mail Enhancement patch from Microsoft's Office downloads if you plan to use internet mail, but I dint' need to add anything to my XP system when I used Outlook 97 there. -- Brian Tillman |
