The prior version of outlook allowed me to add shortcuts to folders saved on
the system to the outlook bar. Is there a way to do it in 2003? My email box is limited in size by the workcenter, therefore I need to be able to save my information somewhere else. |

There is no way to add a Windows file system shortcut to Outlook 2003 that works as such a shortcut worked in earlier versions. That begs the question, though: why would you want to save your messages to a Windows folder? Create a new Personal Folders File (FileNewOutlook Data File) and store your data there. You can put this PST in any folder you want and it will always be available when you open Outlook. -- Brian Tillman |

Adding a shortcut to the Shortcuts navigation pane (which can by done by creating a shortcut on the desktop and dragging it in) will not make it any easier to save Outlook items to system folders. You may want to keep a Windows Explorer window open to the folder you want to save Outlook items in, so you can drag them there.
