All,
I have a weird problem that I just can't seem to shake. I am using Outlook 2003 SP2 on Win XP SP2. This problem does not happen all the time. In fact, I seem to only notice it from one or two email addresses. Anyway, I get an email from a co-worker. When I respond to the email, his address is no longer in the "To" list of my response. It is there, and valid, in his original email to me, but not in my repsonse email. I have to go back up to the "To" line and enter it in. And what I enter in is the exact same email address that it should have put in there. What is interesting is that this happens to this email for almost, but not all, emails that I get from him. It rarely happens with any other email address that sent an email to me. The one pattern that may be the root cause of this is that his email address has two dots ('.') in the name. Like this: . Although, my dad's email follows the same format and it works all the time. Any ideas on this one? I have rebuilt my computer, added a new profile, created a new PST file. The problem still persists. Thanks! |
