I just had a HUGE MSN mail headache and ended up reformatting and
reinstalling all my software. This time around, for some reason, I decided
to install MSN Explorer first after the Windows XP setup and, thus, got a
prompt when installing Outlook to use my MSN address as my default address
so, thinking it might be nice to try it that way, I said yes and then
discovered that by doing it this way, I'd be prompted to have each of my pop
addresses as well as my other mail delivered to my MSN inbox, making syncing
all my mail to my pda a dream.

The down side came when I went to make subfolders off my main folders to
store mail and found that one can't do that. I then setup a second set of
personal folders and was able to move mail from my MSN inbox to these just
as I had before making MSN the default. My question is, am I kidding
myself or is this just like using any "normal" Outlook setup as I have in
the past and I can save, backup copy this PST folder and, thus, have a
complete backup of my mail?

I hate to sound paranoid but this, finally, seems to be the perfect mail
setup for me and I find it hard to believe that there's not a weakness to it
somewhere? Any thoughts, anyone?

PS If I could have done this a LONG time ago and had a much easier time
with my PDA mail please don't feel the need to tell me what a complete idiot
I am. I've already proved this point to myself numerous times in my sixty
years on the planet!! ;-)

if you added a personal folder to your profile, you can back that pst file
up. I can't think of any weaknesses offhand.
