Default Email formatting

Hi all,
the company I work for have finally switched to Outlook 2003 and as
we work with it on a day to day basis the users here find the odd problem
that nees to be ironed out.
Today I was asked about the format of the email. the user has a signature
which is a html file to maintain its style and when he sends email out it
looks as it should, however on reply from one of his contacts it changes the
format to plain text and it looks ugly. I asked him to change these settings
for that particular contact..

1. Open the contact card for the person.
2. In the E-mail box, double-click the contact's e-mail address.
3. In the Internet Format list, select the format you want to use for
messages to this recipient.

but the problem still persists. Is there a way to make sure that his replies
from other contacts maintain the html format on receiving and sending ?

Thanks in advance,
Mitch....

The format settings for a contact's email address affect only new messages. Outlook always formats a reply message in the same format as the incoming message. Many people consider that to be the polite thing to do. For all you know, the sender has their mail program to reject all messages in HTML format.
