I unchecked the "Always ask before opening this type of file" box
requesting if I would like to save an attached .jpeg file to my computer or open it automatically... as a result, .jpeg files are opened automatically when I double click on them in an email (as it should). I would like that warning box to return (i.e., I would like to be asked whether or not I want to save or open), but can not find the setting to return this behavior to its default setting. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks, --Howie |

Advanced button, confirm after download option. You may need to click the reset button before you'll see the advanced button. Thanks...that did it. BTW, on my machine, the "reset" button is actually labeled "restore". (XP Pro) --Howie |
