Hi,
I have Outlook 2003 and I have 4 POP3 accounts. For few recipients I want to send emails only trough a specific POP3 account. I try always to remember and choose account manually but were few times I failed and email was sent trough default POP3 account. Can I create a rule (or there is any plug-in) that will change account to a specific one for few recipients? For example I have following email accounts: (Default) and for next user: I want emails to be sent only trough account. Can I create a rule (or there is any plug-in) that will make sure all emails sent to will be sent trough account ? Hope you understand my english and there is someone willing to help me Best Regards, EDY |

There's no way to do this except select the account manually. You might want
to consider changing your Send-receive settings so that outgoing mail stays in Outbox for 15+ minutes so you have time to rethink the sending acct. Uncheck "send immediately when connected" and set automatic mail polling to every 15 minutes or longer. This also prevents you from sending an unfinished or hasty email. You could set up 3 email templates (one for each of your accounts) which by
default have the relevant email address/account in the from field and put the email address/account in the subject field as well so it is obvious which email address account is being used. Hope this helps. -- Richard "Mary" wrote: There's no way to do this except select the account manually. What's a clear text address?
Jerry I hope those four mail addresses you posted are not the actual address you use. If they are, be prepared for an inundation of SPAM and viruses. NEVER post clear text addresses in a newsgroup. |
