Default Cannot reopen Outlook

We are running Windows 2003 sbs with win xp prof workstations. I just
migrated from Outlook express to Outlook and the transition went fine. I'm
not sure what I did but the PRogram closed and now can't be reopened. Here
is the error message; " Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to
open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened.

What to do?

Thanks for your interest and help.

Thanks for your fast response. How do I create a new profile if I can't open
the program?
