Remote Desktop Connection, VNC, and pcAnywhere are all ways to do that when you don't have Outlook on the second PC. If you have a retail license of Outlook on the desktop, it is legal to install it on the laptop as well and you can share the data store on the desktop with the laptop so that it is visible on both machines. If you're interested in this, let me know. There are also tools to transfer the data between the two machines. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm -- Brian Tillman |
