Default outlook 2003 sp2 address book not in to: field

I recently installed my very first Open License Office 2003 disk. This
was unlike most installation processes and I wonder if that doesn't
have something to do with the issue my boss is experiencing.

I upgraded his office 2002 to office 2003 and now when he creates a new
email his contacts are not accessible in the to: field.

I did my research like a good part time IT assistant and found this
article:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002

which opened the door to a possible solution, but the final step in
"How to Mark Your Contact Folder for Use with Your Address Book" where
you check "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" is greyed out.

Anyone have ideas? I'm at a loss...

Sounds like you need to click Tools | E-mail Accounts and add the Outlook Address Book to the user's mail profile.
