does anyone experience mail getting stuck in the outbox in Outlook 2003,
If i need to open the email before it gets sent. It seems to lose it's date (it turns to NONE) and then never leaves the outbox. The solution is to open the email, move to view the inbox and then hit send again. I'm just wondering if anyone else goes thru this. thanks |

This is normal. It allows you to "stop" an e-mail from being sent if you
catch it in time. You do not need to change the view back to inbox, just open the mail and click send. Then don't open it if you want it to send. switch to another folder before pressing send - if you have certain addins
installed you can't resend when the outbox is open. http://www.slipstick.com/problems/outbox.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Meg" wrote in message ... no such luck, it get's stuck -- Meg Darnell, LMT, CD Director of Alumni Services Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences 212-924-5900 x142 "Drew D" wrote in message ...
