Default Importing Outlook Alias into an Excel 2003 macro

I have an Excel 2003 attachment to an Outlook 2003 calendar entry or
e-mail that executes on an Auto_Open() macro when the recipient clicks
on the file. The idea is to open a file within the Excel 2003 macro on

a shared drive that contains the recipient's outlook Alias in the file
name, as in "ProjectReporting[ALIAS].xls".

Is it possible for the Excel macro to query the Outlook 2003 properties

of the recipient to obtain the Alias name?

Possibly, but what exactly do you mean by "the recipient's Outlook alias"?

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Outlook programming issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm....program_v ba
