whenever i hibernate or turn off my computer, i don't receive emails during
that time. i've read thru the posts on missing emails and i have checked my views and filters. other misc info that may be of help: i just started using outlook when i got a new laptop. i used outlook express on my previous laptop which i still have on my network. when it first started, i still had my account set up on the old laptop, but i have since deleted the mail accounts on it. also, the new laptop was an open box that someone had previously used. the outlook is the free trial version which they had used and i still have it on trial. -- austin |

Outlook must be open to run - why would you think it would receive mail when
your laptop is turned off? -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. example:
i turn off my computer at 5PM and open it at 10AM. outlook says it is receiving emails(emails on the server that have not been downloaded), but nothing shows up in my inbox except messages that are sent and received after 10AM. -- austin "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Outlook must be open to run - why would you think it would receive mail when your laptop is turned off? --Â Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
