Information Rights Management depends on having a Windows 2003 server with
the IRM bits installed. Since Office Basic comes with OEM computers, I will presume that you are not in an environment with a Windows 2003 server. For more information on IRM, see this page: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...in/rmsirm.mspx -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. IRM is not included in the basic version. There is an addon for IE you can
use to read IRM signed mail but you can't send any. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Oola" wrote in message ... i have office basic 2003,does IRM work with basic? and how do i get it to work |
