To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Paul Soelberg" wrote in message ... I went through the procedure of integrating the Outlook Express Newsreader into Outlook 2003. However, when I click on "News," I get a window showing files in a folder titled "1033." That's a subfolder in MSMAPI, etc. Sometimes, "News" doesn't even appear in the Outlook toolbar. I've tried resetting, but nothing changes. And the Customize option for News no longer is available in any of the drop-down lists. Also can't find any information in Help. Suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks. |
