When the recipient opens the message, it notifies them that a receipt has
been requested and asks if they want to send it. I direct people to NEVER send these notifications, and to also not request them from people they send messages to. I also recommend setting Outlook to automatically deny sending receipts without even asking (Tools-Options-Email Options-Tracking Options-Never send a response). Sam "MALIrish" wrote in message ... I have tried to use the return receipt and read mail features in Outlook. . . but I must be doing something wrong. I check the boxes, but I never get a return receipt. I know the e-mail was received as I have received responses. Any ideas??? |
