blocked sender, still his message appears in my inbox
Hi All,
I tried the MS Office Outlook 2003 junk email feature but ran into the following problem: Even after adding a sender to blocked sender list, I was getting his email into my inbox, when it should have gone into the Junk Email folder. Why is that happening ? I have just one sender in that list, so there is no limit overflow trouble as such. Many thanks in advance.. FUnky

address every time it's sent. That's why blocked sender lists are so ineffective in combatting junk mail. -- Brian Tillman Actually the case is one of testing the feature. So, once I tried blocking myself and sending an email from my account, and second time I tried blocking one of my friend's ID and sending mail from his account. Both were downloaded to my inbox.

Is this address in your Safe Sender's list? If so, that overrides the Blocked Senders list. -- Brian Tillman

Nope .. the address is only in my blocked sender's list. The safe sender's
list is empty.
